BUNDANOON OVAL

Public BBQ

Bundanoon Oval serves as a multi-purpose sports ground hosting cricket matches in summer and football in winter. The park is also known as the venue for the annual Brigadoon Highland Gathering, a Scottish festival that draws crowds for pipe band performances, food stalls, and entertainment. The oval is surrounded by open parkland with walking paths, plenty of grass, and shady trees. A covered area includes tables and a couple of free electric barbecues. Public toilets are available on site. The grounds work well for picnics, casual sports, or walking dogs. The atmosphere occasionally includes the sound of bagpipers practising in the area.
